found this on the web. Might be of interest to those venturing into London soon (more towns to follow no doubt!)
Looks like they are replacing some of the traffic lights with speed cameras as well, so exceeding the speed limit through a green light......... Ping!

It's 24 miles from my place to central London, and I pass no less than 27 speed cameras and about 8 traffic light cameras. On an 1800-mile thrash to the Czech Republic last year I spotted about ten in total. Safety cameras my arse, it's pure revenue raising, and it's getting worse all the time.
