hey guys,
im totally new to the cafe racer seen, and ive been totally inspired by the work ive seen on this site and all over the internet.
well what can i say, ive been around motorbikes my whole life, my dad and i were always adding something or changing something on his bikes, and im 18 now and i think its my time i followed in his footsteps and get my butt into gear and start learning the tricks of the trade Very Happy
as im only 18 i have a limited budget, so finding a bike is my first task, if anyone here knows somewhere i could pick up a 250 to start on id me very grateful Smile
ive learnt a lot over the past couple weeks, i havent gotten my head off my laptop screen as ive been reading and watching tutorials, i just finished read IED's masterclass and i must say it was amazing Very Happy

so thats all for now folks Smile i look forward to learning and hopefully gettin my first project started soon

Adam

Hi Adam, welcome to the nut house. As Pud says, E-bay is always a good starting point, particularly unfinished projects, I know you may sometimes wind up sorting out someone else's bodges, but you can also find someone has done a lot of hard work then run out of time or funds or patience etc. Good luck with it.
