New Build to old XJ600

[left]Hi to all. I am a recently retired casual biker, who although has had several Bikes over the years, couldn`t afford a Cafe Racer back in the `60`s.
I have an old(1991), XJ600, which is a runner,but in
need work,. so the intention is to turn it into a Cafe Racer for Sunday rides etc.
I have plenty of tools & am not afraid to have a go. I have sone ideas if my own, but anyone who has done a simular project:- tips, snags, parts etc would all be welcome.

Hello m8 and welcome I to have a XJ600 mine is the diversion whats yours . I am off sick after an op at mo so cant do any thing a pic of what you have to start with would help for ideas Google xj600 cafe racers and see what turns up.
