I'm going to de-lug it, smooth it off and paint it matt black to prevent corrosion and to give it a bit of a line with the seat unit. The exhausts are only for the MOT as is the numberplate, I will be changing the exhausts for 'megaphones' or similar which would be more in keeping with a cafe racer look plus I prefer loud pipes!

Thanks for your interest, keep checking for regular updates.

Saw a 900 Trident a few months ago with a pair of reverse cone exhausts, definitely looked and sounded superb. No idea who made the cans, but well worth looking into.

Took the bike out for a spin on saturday morning and I'm pleased to say that it is a great bike to ride and I'm really pleased with it. Thanks for all your interest in the build and your kind comments.
Not bad for a budget build, total cost including buying the bike and MOT/Tax came in at under £1500
