That's lovely, let's see it out from under the wrapping! Good luck with that, I agree it would be a shame to mess with it.

That old Beeza is a nice looking bike. I'd keep it as it is myself. Mind you it'd make a great cafe racer.

I got towed across the Isle of Man once by a pal on his bike using two bungie cords hooked round his carrier and my headstock.

All went well until I got a bit nervous and applied the brakes, the hooks on the cords pulled straight and they flew off and smacked him in the back of the head, lucky he was wearing a crash helmet or that would have been b*oody painful (although I was sore afterwards...from laughing my arse off!)

Where the hell do you find things like that, particulalry as he has the Enfields and the T'bird as well, and what's the blue car in the very first pictures out of curiosity?

No, not a Westfield/Locost/Tiger/Caterham or any of the hundreds of derivatives of the original Lotus 7.

Unless it's on blocks it's too tall, that looks like a manufacturers plate on the fire wall, and the bonnet is hinged in the centre, all the Lotus 7 look-alikes have 1 piece, lift-off bonnets for ease of access.

I'm thinking like Pud, Riley or MG, although I think it's still too tall for a TA-TF style sports car.

TBH I cheated, the phrase '3rd largest British manufacturer' and the fact the car was obviously pre WWII narrowed it down, good old Google!

But yes, I'd be interested to see any photos.

BTW, have you collected the T'bird yet?

Oh, and yes, I'd love the Enfield, Lord Lucan's picture of his is an inspiration, but I value my marriage and at the moment the financial controller says no more bikes Crying or Very sad

That my friend is a post-WWII JNSN Lightweight, built by the Jensen Motor Company of Carter's Green, West Bromwich, manufacturers of the famous Jensen Interceptor and much better looking CV8.

It was called the Lightweight because the body was revolutionary for the time, being made of aluminum rather than steel. Couldn't find any pictures in the flesh as it were, so here's the best I ca do

Delivery time on tank orders at the moment is 40 weeks

I did say long waiting time, didn't realise it was 9 months, what are they doing down there, giving birth???

No wonder John Williams is offering tank training courses, mind you, I don't know he's going to get many takers at £50k for the basic course and £100k for the franchise. At £400-450 per tank that's a long pay back!
