Hi bud, welcome. Immediate thoughts along the lines of Batterer (Bsa, Triumph Tiger, RD), but I'm sure there's quicker brains out there than mine!

BTW, we need piccies, with that engine/frame combo that's a real trad cafe racer, it needs to be shown in all it's glory!

Thanks pauliexjr for your kind words in the "welcomeing"posting and this query I have for nameing my bike. You mentioned previously the letters SWMBO(she who must be obeyed I presume?)well this already takes me down a whole new line of thinking,so thanks.About the photo you mentioned.Firstly, the bike's not finished yet--got to complete my 1935 Norton es2 first.Secondly I'm no good at doing computer photos yet,old school you know.I'm a hands on knocking machine{hammer} type of guy so will have to get my daughter(SWCWC"she who can work computers") to download/upload???some when it's finished.Good luck---Greeves4t.

SWMBO, spot on. As for photos I use a site called Photobucket. Ask your daughter, if she dosen't know about it post back and I'll explain how it works.

My Dad had an ES2, although I thought it was a late '40's model. He speant 10 years gradually (very) rebuilding it, I left home before he finished it and I never got round to asking him what happened to it (he died in 2003 so a bit too late to ask now!)
