Your bike on The Bike Shed Empty
PostSubject: Your bike on The Bike Shed   Your bike on The Bike Shed EmptyThu Dec 01, 2011 6:28 am

Hi All,

I have a little website/blog thing in partnership with several builders and bloggers; me at www.Full-Tilt.me, Tim & Kev from www.spiritoftheseventies.com, Adam & Rex at www.untitledmotorcycles.com and newbie Barry at www.motorcycledeluxe.com We also work closely with GarageProject motorcycles in Oz and others too.

We may also re-post great bikes from other blogs like Pipeburn and EXIF when it's appropriate, but generally we're trying to avoid repetition.

The site is there to feature real home builds (like yours) - we call them shed builds - alongside pro builds from the likes of GPMC, Deus, Wrench Monkees, Spirit of the Seventies, Untitled MC and others. However, we can't feature every bike (too many are offered up).

I'm sure you've all seen Stidds' bike by now. Here it is on The Bike Shed.

If you have a really lovely build, that works, with an attention to detail that you feel rivals the work of the pros, plus you have a short story to tell and can get some good pics taken, then please email me at info@thebikeshed.com and if we have space and the bike is right, we'll try and feature it.

Feel free to nominate other bikes too.

Also check our new events calendar at the base of the homepage (which is still being worked on) so you don't miss upcoming events.

The site will grow and change with new editors, contributors, features, design and layout, plus we may even sell stuff from the builders (if I can make the e-commerce bit work). There's great advice in the features linking to obscure parts suppliers and other forums, and we will always link back to source, credit bloggers, writers and photographers...

See you down in the Shed sometime?

Boing.

Lots more of your home builds on the shed this week, plus an interview with Triumph mag editor and Sideburn/Sideblog/Rollerburn founder Gary Inman... http://thebikeshed.cc/
