PostSubject: Newbie from Devon   Newbie from Devon EmptyWed May 18, 2011 1:01 am

Hi All,

I thought I would join the forum and say Hi. After years riding sports bikes I found myself coveting bikes like Bonnevilles, Nortons and Tritons. Whilst I still own a Naked SV1000 last year I bought a little VRX400 - not quite a cafe racer but I feel it get's me close.

I shot a vid recently whilst out riding, thought you might like to see it;

Glad to be here on the forum.

Where in Devon are you.
Couldn't tell from the vid.
I've just stepped away from the mega bhp willy waving rat race and got myself a little Guzzi 750 Cafe racer.
Having more fun than I've had in years and I rarely go over 70.
Would love to get a group of modern retro enthusiasts together for regular meets / rides etc.
Cheers.
Paul

Hey Paul,

That film is a mix of locations some in North Devon, some near Knightshayes/Tiverton and some near me in Exeter !!!

Agree a classic rideout could be fun. Let's try and get some people together and make a date.

Who's up for it ?

XBR - Always liked that bike !

How about we all arrange to meet up at the Devon Air Ambulance Ride Out 10th July or Plymouth Mega Ride 14th August ??

Other than that, let's pick a weekend and meet up before that. Let me check with the other half and see what I'm doing the next few weekends !!!!

i nearly made the air ambulance ride last year but my bike decided it would not need it's oil for that ride! not impressed as i was all kitted up with mates waiting.

i also use the other half type of personel organiser.... not found a system it's compatible with?

keep in touch and we'll see about that ride?
