bike all up and running brought one of those timing tools that screw into the spark plug hole, nice and simple to use and gets it smack on

heres a joke or call me thick but after 4 days of undoing work ive already done thought i would pass this little gem over to you guys ....when it was ticking over decided to check the charge system hooked up the voltmetre to the battery expecting to find a steady 13-14 volts instead it read 11-19-21-13 volts so irratic i thought the power module was down or my wiring was wrong tried a different voltmetre still the same, stripped the wiring out couldnt find a problem on the fouth day realized its on its foot stand which is metal standing on a alloy floor (metal) and being postive earth the whole shed was trying to charge.....what a dick....
tank and seat all had its final primer just waiting for the weather to warm up before top coats and foot pegs and brake pedal to sort

Well look on the bright side, if you HAD managed to start the shed it would have been a fek sight warmer to drive round in than the bike! Laughing

its building up nicely
more than can be said for the bike still sitting there untouched for months going
to make a make an effort to spend at least 1 day a week working on it bounce
