| Hey everyone out there, just bought myself a 79 cb900f, doing a bit of a tracker/cafe/rat mix up... would love some info on how the bits and pieces are done, i.e wiring and stripping it all down... also keen to know if anyone has found any good substitute tanks for the cb900s? i would hope that i can find something a bit thinner/smaller, i like the shape of it but if people have found stuff to swap it over with...
I havent done anything to the bike as yet, just waiting to get a rwc so i can start pulling it all down etc...
if there are any cb900 build threads you know of, would be good. i just tried to put up some photos... not sure if they worked tho...
how do we post photos?

Firstly welcome, even if there aren't any CB900 specialists on here you still get hints, tips and encouragement (as well as a shoulder or two to cry on if it all goes t*ts up!) Posting photos I use photobucket, get yourself a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] account, it's free, upoload your photos there by clickingthe green Ăšpload Now' button. Then when you're posting on here open up a second browsing session, go to your photobucket account, when you put your mouse pointer over a photo in photobucket go down to the IMG tab under your photo, left click that, it will then say copied, come back to your post here, then right click 'paste' in here and you get something like this: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Simples :-) | |
