Morning all, new to the forum as I've recently purchased an old Honda superdream 400 and plan on turning it into a cafe racer. I live in Scotland and currently own 2 other Hondas, a 1989 transalp ( which is currently undergoing a strip down refurb ready for winter riding) and a 1990 cbr1000f which is my daily bike.

I'll be asking loads of questions and trawling all the previous superdream build posts so be aware.

Welcome Kerzo, post piccies when you get it going.

I had a CBthou, great comfortable bikes.

Whereabouts in Scotland are you? I've built a couple of cafe racer's and I've found the biggest problem up here is getting the trick bits (clip-ons, rearsets tec.) without resorting to the Internet. It's not that I object to E-bay etc. but it's far more satisfying when you can walk out of a shop with your new goodies under your arm!

Good luck with the build and remember this is a great place for help and advice.

Just outside Blairgowrie, the thou is indeed a comfy bike. I got the bike home the other day so it'll soon be time to get it started then stripped and see where I go from there..
