ill try and post as many pics as i can , lights are separate off a relay , that also links off to the horn that is switched by a micro under the seat to turn off while cranking , could also be done through ignition switch , other relay runs electronic ignition and coils , another relay runs starter button all with some links off to other bits , and all fused . really hard work to get your head around , bit by bit , this is a full days wiring we have lights and ignition and turns over but still a few bits to do . maybe another full day to get everything going .
had struggles with the rear light trying to get it flush and get a number plate lamp in to . i have gone the easy route and got a landrover rear lamp and drilled a hole for an led number plate lamp in it. the foam was to hard to do in one piece so have gone for 2 pieces , these are all things i may change in years to come but haven't turn out to bad really .
hopefully in the next few weeks. i keep telling myself it doesn't matter if its not or if the engine has to come out again its no biggie . truth is i cant wait.
badges on and rear lights and front lights and horn rigged up . spent about an hour looking for one blue terminal to connect the side light but must have used every single one , oh well little job for tomorrow .

not really that sure of the rear mount numberplate , might try a different mount , just doesn't look that good , ive tried extending it out so i can get more angle bit its just not right , might play about with a side mount.

see what you mean, not much room there to angle it downwards. side mount plates can make your bike look a bit 'bobber' ish sometimes, but saying that I have seen some racers that look ok like that. how about putting the rear light below with the plate above , i dunno , just a thought... let us know how you get on

I think it really comes down to the ridiculously large std number plate . With such a small bike I haven't got much room to play with . 7x5 plate works either mounted on the rear or side mount . I guess that's what I'll do . I have made up a side mount aswell and ill post some results when it arrives .

Problem with that Russ is you need the clear part at the bottom of the rear light to illuminate the plate and you can't have the white light shining upwards. I agree with the 'bobber' thoughts though.
