Honda CB day 1 WestLancashire-20130328-00118

Day 1- just got back from picking up he 1980 CB650 frame and 400 tank. I am not sure the tank is going to fit!

I have a rookie question! do i just push he handle bars down or take them off and turn them around?

Dave

Dave, that tank looks like it should have a flap covering the filler cap, I can now see why you want to chnage to a flush unit, but honestly I would try to source another tank rather than wasting a lot of time on that one!

I know, it didnt have the flap and I didn't notice when i bid on it, I can't afford another tank just yet so I am going to see if I can get round it some way. I probably can't but it will be fun trying as I have loads of time on my hands.
