| I have the complete loom for the Honda CB450DX. I am making a cafe racer from this bike but the previous owner took all the levers of the bike and disconnected all the wiring. Has any one got a simplified wiring diagram for this bike or a CB 250/400 Superdream as they are very similar in design and electrics. If anyone has made a cafe racer from this model I would be very interested in hearing from you. Thanks Tom  | |

| Alternatively this is the simplified diagram I used on my CB750 F1, it should work for your bike  | |

| Hi,
Just stumbled on your post whilst hunting for a wiring diagram for the CB450DX. I have an almost completed cafe racer which I've just been adding some new instruments to and I'm struggling to get the warning lights wired up correctly. The bike has been on the road for over a year now, so this is just finishing things off to complete a more professional build look to the bike.
If I can figure out how to load photos into posts I'll get some up here...............its a cracking looking bike I bought on a whim over a year ago. The guy who built most of it can't even ride a bike !.................he just loves the engineering and fabrication challenges of creating something form virtually nothing, so unfortunately I can only claim credit for sourcing and fitting what I consider to be appropriate instruments to suit the style of the bike, pity I can't even figure out the wiring for basic instrument lighting and warning lights !

| Advertised it at £2995 but just over £2k would probably buy it...........................although to be fair I've just finished fiddling about with it adding new instruments and generally prep'ing it for MOT and I've kind of re-affirmed that I really, really like the bike. Its properly different and whenever I go out it attracts loads of attention, the only downside for me is old limbs etc. its mainly my knees and elbows that give me gyp, but that happens with most bikes I ride, just happens a bit sooner on this compact little compact !
So I won't be giving it away, but as the old saying goes, 'everything has its price ' | |

| Just make it more roomy then. I managed it quite easily with the Guzzi - it would be really quite comfy if it weren't for the granite seat... | |
