Motorcycle Show Meet Up

Looking ahead to July 28th, it's the Calne Motorcycle day.
I've never been but apparently it's a stonking day out and well worth the trip.
Loads of bikes.

So my idea is this.
There are lots of one make/model clubs who have a dedicated area, so how about a section dedicated to Cafe Racers as part of the show.
If I could get say, 10 people at least interested, it would be worth doing and I could contact the organisors to reserve a plot for us to display our bikes.
Whaddyathink ?
It's gotta be Cafe Racers only though, both modern and old.
We'd have to be a club so even if it's just for the day, we can be a club to make it official.

Hi there this sounds good you can count me in its 65 miles for me to go so not the length of the earth by any means and all i build is cafe racers so its right up my street.

Could well be up for this. Would have to trailer the bike there though as its not road legal! ;-)

Been far too busy building bikes instead of riding them!

it'll give me a deadline for my old heap so if its ready, i'm in.

I just had an email from the organisers who love the idea of a cafe racer display and are more than happy to accomodate us.
Again, it's the 28th July and from what I've heard, it's a great day out.
So there's an encentive for those builds to get completed.
I've had one email so far.
Would be nice to get another eight people as definite to make it viable as a club stand.
Suggest we find a nearby services and ride in.
What a sight that'll be.
Please let me know by late May.
