bad luck or am i missing something

i have bid on 3 different items this week on ebay sure fire winner on them all so i thought being the highest bidder down to the last couple of seconds then bam outbid but always by just 50p or a pound

ive been told that there are sniper programes now that bid not leaving enough time to enter a higher amount it really pisses you off when youve waited a week or so for something to finish

so the question is do any of you use one if so which one and are they safe??? ,did a little research on the net and theres loads to choose from but all asking for your ebay log in details??? shame its gone that way are the snap up a bargain days coming to a end???

To be honest I'd stay well away from anything that asks for your private data. I buy and sell on E-bay, I do online banking and I buy a lot of stuff off the net, but I never give anyone my log ins etc. If all they are asking for is your E-bay name that's not so bad, but anything further, address, date of birth etc. tell them to go and do one!
