Can someone steer me to where I can purchase a front fender license plate. I'm working on a CB350f cafe project for my son and would like to purchase one.

Welcome to the forum, sorry, can't help as they were banned in the UK a number of years ago. Have you tried E-bay, or even your local motorcycle supplier?

Yes I have tried both with no luck. May have to make my own! Why were they banned in the UK?

Most UK plates were made of sheet steel and followed the line of the front fender, this made a very effective cutting tool if you happened to hit a pedestrian and it was felt the inconvenience of not haveing a front plate was more than compensated for by the number of potentially bad gashes or cuts this move would save. It's the same reason they banned fixed bonnet mascots on cars over here, research showed that a pedestrian who was thrown over the bonnet (hood) of a car was likely to sustain far more serious trauma if they contacted a solid metal figure of a leaping jaguar or some such in the process!
