How do from Shropshire

Lo Everybods....

Thought i would introduce myself.... Wink

Long time Triumph owner (although been couple of years since my last Triple...and my Speed Triple is the reason i want to now build a CR)...

Today i recieved FOC from a Streetfighter type mate (bless him...he does love his Simpson helmets...)...a Kwak Z550...!!!!....its a runner too...but its a "rat" bike (You can have a piccie if you really want one..... Embarassed

), needs an MOT and the front brakes doing..... but its the basis for my " Project Cafe Racer" (Orginal...I know...I stun myself some days...)...Granted its not british etc....but i knows what i want (sort of Triton crossed with an "Exile"......

......now..... i'm not the most technical minded of peoples ( i own a Rover 75 1.8...and yes its the K Series...see what i mean about not being technical minded..)...anyway i digress (I tend to wander a bit...too many blows to the head...).. I will be scouring this fine forum for info and help over the next few months / years...so if you could allow a certain amount of understanding and tolerance of a 44yr old schoolboy I would very much appreciate it...

oh....and look forward to meeting some of you in the near future....

Welcome Steve, you'll fidn it's a bit quiet on here in comparison to soem other forums, the MG ZT/Rover 75 forum being a case in point! I have a ZT 1.8T, again with the beloved K series engine so I spend a fair bit of time on there.

The good news is there is always someone kicking around on here who can offer advice, help or just a shoulder to cry on. Good luck with the build, pictures are always welcome! Very Happy

I'm a member of the 75 & ZT Forum...or i was until the handbags started swinging....so don't bother anymore...although stll keen on a ZT-T (Diesel though Smile

), my 75 (Grace) is in for her 4th HGF (yep fourth...not a typo..but she's under warrenty and they still keep trying to fix her....) but won't let go of her...

..unless someones wants to swop her for a Triple ...maybe? bounce

anyway....not sure where to start...but i have a lot of work to do on the Bike...as i said she runs, only needs a MOT etc....i have a vision in my head what i want...its just getting out of that primeval muck and onto paper...so it all starts here....
