I have bought (not collected yet ) a cb 350 sg off eBay , that I was hoping to use as a cafe racer project, but don't seem to be able to find any information on them, if any cafe racers have been done on these bikes and if it's possible?
any advice most welcome

'corse it possible just strip it down and make it up as you go along, thats all they did in the 60's... start a thread in the projects section when you get her home too

Thanks Paul I have done that but there is only one bike there that is the same as my model cb 350 s-g 1988 an that's not the best looking..... at the moment im considering ditching the cafe racer idea and just doing a restoration on this one and then wait for a more suitable cafe racer donor

So do none of the others give you ideas about what is possible?
Cafe racers are not about replicas, it's about your own style!
Wrap the exhausts, fit some clip-on bars and rear sets, decent seat, get rid of the side panels, paint the fame/tank/wheels etc. etc. It's all about individuality.
