Hi my names martin age 25 and ime new to the cafe racer scene.thinking of converting my xjr400 next winter,i love the syle of bike and the whole heritage of it all ime really looking forward to my little project it should be fun so hello to everybody on here.

Hi Martin and welcome. As my user name should tell you I'm a big fan of XJRs having had 3, to be fair they were a 1200 and two 1300s, but I like the build quality and the near bombproof engines.

As XJRs are a 'naked' bike with a standard frame/tank/seat set up they lend themselves very nicely to achieving a cafe look, if you want some ideas/inspiration take a look here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
