hello from denton texas Empty
PostSubject: hello from denton texas   hello from denton texas EmptyTue Sep 24, 2013 12:26 am

I am 64,riding since 1973.I currently with a friend of mine am building a 80 kz 1000 cafe racer. We had the running donor bike, another frame, 2 mk 2 engines, one other frame with wheels, bars, and rotors. So we have enough to make 1 bike for sure.He is a master fabricator and welder, used to build frames for dragsters. He has spent countless hours improving our other frame. It should handle well for agressive riders.I dont have the money for forks from say a cbr 954,r1, or fjr, but we will have improved brakes and a brace.I will post pictures here as we go along. I stumbled onto this forum. There is another forum with almost the same name. Many of the members are verbally abusive. For me, I cant even ride a cafe racer.I am building an 850 gs for myself, but it will be a restoration.I do love the minimalist look, handling and performance of the cafe racers.
