GS 550 carbs Empty
PostSubject: GS 550 carbs    GS 550 carbs EmptyWed Jan 02, 2013 1:47 am

First happy new year and big thanks to all who helped me get this project of the ground

Hi Guys im currently working on getting fuel to the carbs of my GS 550m.
my question so i don't muck this up is you have the main fuel line which is larger and goes on the larger peatcock
then i have a thinner one which i gather is for air which i assume goes to the plug on the top left
of the carbs is this correct.

This image is of the thinner tube which goes to peatcock which is coming of carb 2 top left
is this correct placement the carbs are mikuni carbs.
the bike no longer has the air filter on the bike.

I also have purchased this speedo GS 550 carbs 8337468596
and the globe was not working and has fallen in and now i cant get it out is this a sealed unit i gather
has anybody got any ideas on how to get into this thing so i can get the screws and globe back ?

Thanks in advance for any ideas to fix these issues .

and this is how the project is starting to look !!!GS 550 carbs 8337505806
