Highway Thunder - Sep 16, 2012
Highway Thunder is a convoy of thousands of cars, trucks, motorbikes and other roadworthy vehicles travelling from the Hyperdome car park to Parklands Gold Coast under a police escort. All vehicles will proudly display “Protect our Kids” car flags in a show of support for the victims of child sexual assault.
In addition to raising important community awareness about child sexual assault, Highway Thunder is an important fundraising initiative which enables Bravehearts to continue its’ programs and services to educate, empower and protect children.

Everyone is invited to join in this exciting event! We encourage you to get your workplaces, family and friends involved to raise awareness of child sexual assault.



Entry fees are only $10 per vehicle!



** Please note that patch clubs are excluded from participating in Highway Thunder.



Itinerary - Departing from Logan Hyperdome car park southbound

7:30 am Arrive at Hyperdome car park
8:30am Begin convoy to the Gold Coast
9:30am Vehicles begin to arrive at Parklands Gold Coast
10am Family fun day begins – live entertainment, activities for the kids, prizes and more!
12pm Show & Shine presentation and prizes awarded

Itinerary - Departing from Betty Diamond Park northbound

7:30am Arrive at Betty Diamond Park
8:30am Begin convoy to Parklands Gold Coast
9:30am Vehicles begin to arrive at Parklands Gold Coast
10:00am Family fun day begins - live entertainment, activities for the kids, prizes and more
12:00pm Show & Shine presentation and prizes awarded
