| Hi and welcome, I think there's a forum rule that says you can't post pictures for 7 days after jojning which may be why there's no picture in your post. I like the CB650, lends itself well to cafes so good luck with the build and post piccies when you can. | |

i would say the exact opposite, a cb 650 custom will not lend itself to be cafe'd easy. it'll probably have a peanut tank, long forks , big front wheel\ small fat back wheel, don't know if its a four but it'll probably have a frame with a low slung seat height,& it'll be heavy ie everything wrong.

| Sorry, missed out the word 'custom', I was thinking of this one: I agree the custom or Nighthawk as I think it was called in the US is probably far less suited to a cafe due to all the things Mike says above. | |

| Dazzler has a CB650. Which I have worked on and ridden. Personally I think the 650 is a very good base for Café. It's very light compared to my CB750. Yes it is a squat frame layout but that adds to the Café feel. It's really good on the road and handles very well.
Good luck with the build. If your after some spoked wheels with DID Ali rims give R&D motorcycles a ring. They have a few sets which they brought back from the states.
CUSTOM. Just change the frame. Job done.
