Rear Cowling Empty
PostSubject: Rear Cowling   Rear Cowling EmptySun Jun 03, 2012 8:56 am

So...

I've got a suzuki gn 125 here in Vietnam, engine running fine and frame rewelded. You have to be carefull here, as soon as you buy a bike you have to check everything as a lot o the local mechanics can be a bit slack at times. Gastank needs repairing but thats just a bit of filler and a lot of time with the wet and dry paper.

What I really need help on is the rear end cowling, there is no chance of being able to buy one here and with the postal system being as crap as it is I can't buy one on the net and ship it in.

Anyone able to offer advice on how to build the cowling, I'm a fairly decent Tig welder (10+ years). If someone could point me towards a technical drawing which I could modify to suit would be great or any advice and help would be great.

cheers

Josh

nice one guys, cheers.

Looked through IED's build and it's bloody beautiful, only problem being finding fiberglass kits here will be pretty hard if not impossible. Looking at a few other design changes will keep you posted.

By the way bad jokes and puns are perfectly acceptable...
