| i like the lines of the bike, glad to see you havn't made the big mistake of trying to fit usd forks to it , i hate the things !. does it only have 3 mounting points for the engine ? chain guard could do with a bit more imagination though. | |

| hi Mike, the engine has 2 mounts on the head and 2 behind the gearbox, not truly a stressed member more of a hung one. chain guard went into the bin last year after I found it didnt need it for the MOT with only a single seat. | |

| are they rubber mounts for the engine, just wondered how solid it all is, because the main frame doesn't look over the top beefy. the seat sub frame does though. do they do a 500 version of this motor or am i thinking ducati. i like air cooled 4 stroke twins. i'm trying to shoehorn a 1980 suzy gsx 250 twin into a 96 rg 125 chassis & wondered if i could dispence with the down tubes, i'll definately have to cut them out . | |

| Mike, the engine is solid mounted as per the original frame, the rear subframe is made from a thiner walled tube and bolts on. 'm not sure it would be a good idea to remove the cradle completely, this Jota frame built by the same firm as mine [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
