Kempton Park

There is an autojumble and classic bike show at Kempton Park, Sunbury 19th May, I will be there and it would be good to meet up, grab a coffee and talk bikes, maybe we could talk about a stand at the show for next year.

There will be a fair few rivet counters and we will proper piss em off with our bastardised cafe racers

yeah it is.. having problem with it she running when cold but when she up to temp it dies. so im hoping ken can give me a clue where to go next to fix it..

Sounds like a weak mixture. Have you changed anything on the air-filter side, cones or venturies instead of the standard airbox or something?

I thought that might be the problem so I took off the cone filters and put the old air box back on, cleaned the carbs but still having problem. so when i pick up the bike today going to put an inline filter.

what are the plugs saying?they will tell you how you air/fuel mixture is
could be electrical maybe coils are breaking down and stopping working when they get hot

this is the right side

[/img]and the left side.. as you can see one side was lean the other is burning oil. so I hoping when I pick up the bike I will have a clue on where to go next with it to fix it.

yeah i saw the bikes in there very sweet.... Ken told me that the main jets are blocked. so those came off and the spare set I have was in better nick so they were stripped apart and clean and went in the ultrasonic cleaner..... when on today and its working all good now just some fine tuning to do... inline filter fitted... love my JD on a summer evening Smile
