so how was your week?

morning campers.

was a rushed one this week and wondered what other people are up to other than bike building.

this week i've had in a norton commando dunstale for tank repair, been painting a triumph thunderbird, baby yam and some frame work on my own gs.

also had to mess with a 1966 splitscreen and had a 1935 austin 7 delivered for resto.

no money in any of it but get to play with stuff i love.

please tell me i'm not the only one who gets to do this all the time.

2 weeks into recovery following 3 ops on my shoulder still got 4 weeks with arm straped up followed by a further 5 months of work so really fed up pissed off and a son that spends more time in the work shop than me

Pud you have my sympathy old son, get well soon.

My week? Usual thing, travelled around 650-700 miles, got to meet a couple of interesting people (and couple of boring gits!) Stayed in a nice hotel just outside Preston, drank far more Lancaster Blonde than was good for me and looking forward to the rugby this evening, will probably go to the local and watch it, although as an ex-pat Englishman living in Scotland I do hope we put up a better show than the World Cup, I'll get a right ribbing if England go down without making a fight of it!

done some bits and bobs on the bike
got ratted last night woke up with a bangin head cental heating wouldnt turn on fixed that ,car wouldnt start fixed that shed heater broke aint got a new one yet
did a bit of payin work didnt enjoy that
.......but alls good in da hood.........

i lasted 5 days after a big groin op before trying ten pin bowling out of boredom.

not the best decision i ever made. straight from the land of muppetry actually.

thanks all for the sympathy, i am going crazy the op is on the right shoulder so cant drive got the bike in bits the engine striped down to the crank cases ready for a how to. My son is waiting on me to show him more on his bike the jobs indoors mounting up and not too mention sickpay
