As I said in my previous post, welcome. I was lucky, my Mum married a biker so there was never any doubt where my future lay. I have a picture of my Dad when he was 17, sitting on a Velocette Venom in Leyton high street, according to my Mum he was just about to drive it across the road to get a hair cut!
My first bike was a 175cc BSA Bantam, I was 14. That got swapped for a Matchless 350. I moved on in the early '70s to grown-up bikes, a BSA A10 in need of lots of TLC, followed by an ex-police Triumph 650 'Saint' aka a 6T. I got the Jap bikes bug in 1975 with a Suzuki 550GT ram-air cooled triple, then went on 6 months later to get it's big brother, the 750GT water-cooled, aka 'the kettle'
Like you, bikes have always been my passion, (unfortunately not shared by swmbo)I didn't pass my car test until I was 22.
So, pictures of your pride and joy and keep on posting!
