| Hello!
I'm a 44 year old swede who stumbled across this forum searching the internet for Rickmanparts. I do have a 1977 Rickman CR in a sorry condition. GPz900 wheels(16 inch front), wrong engine... My projects tends to be like a substance abuse. Right now in my garage there is the Rickman, a Super seven projekt (MNR) and a wooden kayak build. I do lie to my wife about this. I really never finish any projects but I am always keen on starting a new one. I am no longer ashame of that:-) I do my work professionally, care for my family, pay my bills etc so i think i can do whatever I want in my garage. Listen to Judas Priest on max volume and wreck a bicycle? Why not?

| Welcome Johan, your projects sound very much like mine, it's 14 months since I started the CB750, I am still replacing all the skirting boards in the house since fitting oak flooring 18 months ago, my bowrider boat has never been in teh water in teh 2 years I have owned it and I have bought and sold 3 kit-car 'projects' in the past 5 years without finishing any of them! But in my view a woman has her house, we men have our garages, I don't ask her why she watches so many soaps, what I do in the garage (so long as I don't burn it down) is my business! Good luck with the Rickman | |

ditto to that. though i'm starting to find my missus asking for more "storage for my stuff" space now i've taken over the garage, workshop, top two sheds, bottom shed, green house and half the summer house. i mean, how much space does she need. the cheek of it. | |

| I guess it looks the same all around the world. My biggest mistake was giving up motorcycling in 2003 when we got kids. Can you believe the argument when I bought my Rickman in 2010? I was now an irresponsible person who took family money to stupid things. "roof over the porch... Vacation... etc...) When we met I was a motorcycle racer who put all my money on motorcycles and Watched GP 500 every sunny sunday. Never, ever give up your interests, the comeback is tough!
