Ok... First up, apologies for giving into the huge scary machine that is FB, but over the last few weeks I've learned a lot a bout blogging and websites, and with the help of guys like Adam at Untitled MC and Tim & Kev at Spirit of the Seventies, I've been convinced that we "need" a facebook presence... I feel slightly dirty, as I've avoided being on it all these years, but I guess the day had to come...

So, now it's there, I need to let people know and invite people to join in. My personal FB is Dutch Von Shed - feel free to become a friend - and the pages are The Bike Shed at https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Bike-Shed/312531012103824?sk=wall

Come and say hello...

Sorry Dutch, I don't do TwitFace or any of that social networking carp.

I'm on Linked-In and I do have a Facebook account thanks to my missus who said I 'must' have one and it would be fun, but I avoid it like the plague because of the inane shite that gets posted, particularly by some of her friends!

I'll stick to user-specific forums such as this one, it may be quiet, but you avoid the risk of being poked (or prodded or gang raped) by some of the total dickwads that lurk in aformentioned chatrooms! Shocked

You may be right fella, but it's amazing how many people feel like they have to have a FB version of their blog - and the numbers prove them right... I'm still not a fan tho. The Shed is my true home.
