| Just a quick hello.... I haven't had a bike for quite a number of years so I have come to the conclusion I must be having a mid life crisis I'm looking forward to having a look through the pictures of everyones bikes but must say I feel a little bit of a fraud.... I have neither the time or inclination & certainly don't have the knowledge to build one of these awesome beasts, so I took the easy option & just bought one... It was mandatory to buy the open face hat, goggles & retro(ish) jacket to go with it..... & the feeling I get when I ride out with a totally stupid grin on my face, scaring all the kids & animals from the noise I make is just the dogs danglies... I'm looking forward to the summer now, I feel the need for some flies to get wedged between my teeth... Regards, Andy. Here is my new toy..... | Welcoem Andy, I think you'd find a lot of us are going through or have had the same mid-life crisis. Mine took place about 8 years ago having been off bikes for over 20 years I got the urge and have had various steeds since then. But I keep coming back to cafe racers!
BTW, you are not a fraud, why re-invent the wheel? That's a nice looking Enfield, what is it? Whatever age and size it's bang on and I think you'll have lots of fun on that!

I think it started life as a 2003 Bullet 65 - 500cc.... Im not sure it has even been on the road since being converted to a cafe racer, everything looks in virtually mint/brand new condition. I've only had it about a month, but every opportunity I've had, weather dictating, its been out. Whilst it is a stunning bike to look at (The pictures do it no justice at all) it was made to ride.... & thats what I'll be doing with it!!!
