Wigan Cafe Racer

Good afternoon to all,

Only Cafe racer site in the UK so had to join.

I am currently building a 1979 Honda CB750KZ, as with bikes i have previously built it starts at the beginning. Bike stripped and sourcing bits and bobs.
Frame waiting for Benjies Coi tank and seat unit, only three weeks left to wait i hope. Then the rear end will be chopped and new loop fitted.
Engine stripped and away for vapour blasting, all new bearings chains and tensioners to be fitted.
Fork tubes at the chromers.
1977 wheels waiting to go to central wheel for morad ali rims and s/s spokes
1977 clock set.
Also building my own s/s exhaust 4 into 1 race pipe.
Then put it all back together. Sounds simple but never is.
I will place photo's as and when.

Welcome to the asylum matey. Benjie's? Hell man you must either be minted or have a very forgiving significant other! Love their kit but hell would freeze over before I'd get the go ahead for one of their tanks/seat combos (or swhmbo could meet with a nasty accident and I could use the insurance money?? )

Really like their coi tank and seat, got great lines and looks. Wish i were minted but do have an understanding other, HONEST.
The upcoming sale of my last creation is funding this one.
