PostSubject: Greetings from Northamptonshire    Greetings from Northamptonshire EmptySun Jan 18, 2015 3:45 pm

Hello, just joined from South Northants . Had bikes all my life, raced Manx Nortons, 7R, Seeley G50 at home and abroad inc Manx GP. Got a 1972 MGB as the wife didn't want to pillion any more but can't get bikes out of my system. Didn't want to just go out and buy something, so decided to build a SR500 based cafe racer, can't believe what a big scene this is, it's global!.
I bought a chassis and motor in bits from ebay and and went from there, it's finished now, just waiting for the letter from Yam UK to send to DVLA to get it registered, I will try to post some pics on the new projects forum as soon as I get a photobucket account running.
Looking forward to going to some meets this year, want to do the Distinguished Gents ride as prostate cancer got my dad and he taught me so much about bikes.
Cheers Pete
