Rear shock spacer? Empty
PostSubject: Rear shock spacer?   Rear shock spacer? EmptyWed Mar 20, 2013 8:32 am

Is it possible to fit a small spacer (25-30mm) into the shock mount on my swingarm on the xbr.

A 25mm bit of box section would make the 'fake' lower shock piece which will bolt with the original bolt then I could extend the sides up, new holes and bolt the shock to it. Hope to raise the seat/rear light ect a bit away from the wheel.

Possible, safe, any problems?

Thanks

Anything is possible, but can I suggest you post up a couple of pictures of what you're trying to do and that will make it easier to understand?

Raised the seat a bit all sorted, nothing drastic needed I think now.

Cheers

Will get some pic's up of the build sometime though.
