Hi all, I have a few questions id like to ask.
1) I have been working on my indicators this weekend and they are doing my head in.
I only had my front indicators fitted and the power from the battry was lowish and the relay was a 2 pin 21watt 12v car relay but it was new.
No matter what I done the indicators wouldnt flash, they would come on but not flash.
I shorted out the wires going to the relay and they came on in the correct position on the switch but not flash even when I had the relay on it was the same.
This made me think the relay was broke and later the relay wouldnt even turn the indicators on so I binned it.
I have bought a new relay, this time one off a Honda CG 125 so hopefully this will work.
My question is, would low battry or only having the fornt indicators connected cause the relay not to flash?
2) I could only get my speedo bulb to turn on when the main lights switched on, it wouldnt work when the parking light was on, is this correct?
3) My parking light bulb goes off when I push the switch to main lights, I thought it was supposed to stay on with the main lights, which way is correct?
4)My bike is an 2005 year and came origanally fitted with a hazard light switch and wiring but someone removed the wiring for the hazards and I dont want to put it back in if I dont have to.
If I remove the switch and fill and spray over where they were so you couldnt even tell the switch was ever fitted but the indicators still all work, would it pass an MOT?
A few questions their, I hope you can answer me as these are doing my head in.
