| Built this from a load of bit from ebay and jumbles.did my own paint, wheels, polishing, wiring, motor was in bits with loads missing but got most stuff online, very enjoyable build. Pretty pleased how it turned out just getting it registered now. Cheers Pete " /> " /> " /> " /> | |

| Hi Congratulations , that is a great looking bike. It would be good if you could post some 'progress' photos as you built it - if you took any. Bet you can't wait for the registration to get it out on the road. Regards and best wishes. Mike

| Wow seeing the state of the donor bike makes me appreciate the finished result even more. Nice paint job on the tank ! Thanks for posting.

| That is beautiful and a very professional job. A bit reminiscent of my first cafe racer, a 1966 Royal Enfield Continental GT | |

| I modelled it up on ProEngineer and a friend machined as I no longer have access to machines. R6 caliper from ebay, CBR125 master cyl.

| ProEngineer? You should take a look at SolidWorks, superb 3D design software. Still a lovely looking bike though | |

| Been using ProE or Creo as called now for about 16 years like it for complex assemblies ,surfacing ,mould tool design. If starting now would give SolidWorks a good look as Creo not cheap. Moldesign option about £7500 on top of Base package!. Thanks for comments on the bike. I was all for buying an alloy tank but I have grown to like the stock one. Would have liked knee indents but not got the courage and skill to do it. Have you checked out Chappell Customs on YouTube , he does some real nice stuff, would like his workshop. Lossa stuff nice too. | |

| SolidWorks is an excellent product, but un fortunately 3D CAD is a very mature market and if you already have ProE or SolidEdge or whatever there is very little incentive to move (which is why I am out of that industry now!) As for alloy tanks, the last one I bought was custom made by Unity Equipe in Todmorden for my T140V OIF Bonnie, you can see it here https://caferacer.forumotion.com/t81-my-76-oif-bonneville | |
