i seem to just be doing vans lately and i hate the things being as my workshop aint that big.

outside of that i seem to have been talking into rebuilding most of my sister's house, thats my sundays.

its all money so i cant complain but being on the road this year is looking very unlikely now.

my neighbour has just bought another bike he'll ride, a ducati monster s4.

with any luck it'll come my way for a decent price as he's already talking of selling it.

another project...now that would be divorce.

i've been after a bit of pipe the right diameter all summer, but because i'm always too busy to go out and look for it, it took a chance meet with a mate who works with the stuff before i could move forward.

they don't look much, but they'll form the top gaitor caps on the bottom yoke. didn't want any visible fixings.

gaitors are from a gt380.

so heres the heap i haven't got time to do.

and it is a heap.

cost pennies, looks like less. the kindest thing to do would be to put it out of its misery, but wheres the fun in that.

will probably be a bobber, albeit a slow one.

wont be touched till the gs is finished so probably never.

morning people, been an age since logging on, work 'an all.

got big plans for the xs, Miffa, but their on hold til later in the year.

gs has moved on in the last couple of weeks. finally had some time to spend on it now the resto i'm involved in at work is coming to an end.

it doesn't look much different though, as i'm at the niggly faze.

gonna make my own exhaust now so have to obtain a pipe bender before i can go much further.

shaun.

cut and altered some old mudguards from the scrap pile.

rear one was halved and a cut out added for the chain.

front is shorter than i'd like but the fender i took it from was off an inch smaller rim.

picked up some scrap stainless to start the exhaust.

all needs fettling but its progress.

Evening people.

Yes i'm still alive... just.

Still working on it. Finished the rewire last week. Am waiting to purchase a tig welder before i finish the exhaust so as to make a proper job of it.

then it just cables and silly stuff. Will be on the road this summer for sure.

Will sort some pics when it looks different enough to take any.

Thats the plan, Paul.

Though i've said that before.

Two kitchens, a wall, a garage, a pickup and the scroc to finish in my spare time as well this spring. Sad

Ahhh, the fateful caddy.

15 years of ownership and i'm still spending money into it.

A quick two week engine swap has turned into a three year rebuild...again.

Just hoping the bike doesn't go the same way.
