Hello, my names Bex and I'm doing up a little CB200 cafe racer. I'm from Ireland but live in London these days.

Not really done much yet, work etc getting in the way that old chestnut.

Anyways its a '74 model which I picked up as a non starter for £200. Still, a bit of carb cleaning, wire fiddling and petrol later we managed to get her kickstarted, so was very happy with that.

Got a seat on the way and been picking up bits and pieces for a few months now, clip ons, rearsets, air filter pods etc, and just ordered the guts of a new wiring loom which I'm looking forward to getting stuck into.

I'll get a progress thread going once I finally pull my finger out Rolling Eyes

I ride a Monster 796 day to day but this is my first project so am looking forward to getting on with it.

Nice to see you all Very Happy

Hi Bex, welcome to the site.

I am originally from Ireland myself, was born in Cloyne co. Cork, but moved to Bristol when I was 3 or 4.

Be good to see your little CB's process pictures and what you are going to do to it.

How is that Monster you ride? I was looking at one of those the other day.

The monster is pretty great, bit of a nutter at times but I love it. Just back from Belgium/Germany/France trip for two weeks on it and loved every minute. Couple of good stops included Le Mans 24hr Moto and a ride around the Nurburgring.

I'll get around to some pics of the CB soon, and hopefully some work on it too
